Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original research articles, systematic reviews, and short communications related to cardiometabolic health, including but not limited to cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, physical activity, nutrition, and public health.

Manuscripts submitted to Global Cardiometabolic Health must be original and not under consideration by another journal.

MANUSCRIPT FORMAT

Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format using the following structure:

Title Page
The title page should include:
• Title of the article
• Full names of all authors
• Author affiliations
• Corresponding author email

Abstract
Provide an abstract of 150–250 words summarizing the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the study.

Keywords
Provide 3–6 keywords that represent the core topics of the manuscript.

Main Text
The manuscript should be organized as follows:

1. Introduction
2. Methods
3. Results
4. Discussion
5. Conclusion

Tables and Figures
Tables and figures should be clearly labeled and cited in the text.

References
References should follow the Vancouver citation style.

ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS

Studies involving human participants or animals must include a statement confirming ethical approval from an appropriate ethics committee.

PLAGIARISM POLICY

All submissions will be screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with significant similarity will be rejected.

SUBMISSION PROCESS

Authors must submit manuscripts through the online submission system of this journal. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors approve the submission.
